Hi I am PIERRE de VILLIERS!

Waves, I like them all.. Big waves, Small waves Hollow or Onshore!! I'll surf them any time I can..
Surfboard shaping is my thing and I've been at it for over 30 years! I shape and ride them all - retro's, single fins, twins, thrusters, quads and even 5 fins, bonzers fishes, guns mini, mals, longboards, kiteboards and sup's -in many different surf spots within Cape Town, South Africa, where I live or further afield when I get the chance. I love to surf Muizenburg on my longboard with my boy on his toyboard. I make custom shaped surfboards to suit all people. I also have a stock of boards around from second hand surfboards, trade ins to new stock surfboards. I make them from normal polyester and new epoxy, with polyurathane or polyestyrene cores. I make them featherlight to fly or solid as a rock to last, many of my surfboards are still around 10 years later. My surfboards are often painted by Osnat, with matching fins to make them even more special!!

Jerusalem born (1963), art education in Israel
at "HAMIDRASHA RAMAT HASHARON" 1984-1987.
Held my own art studio, art gallery and art
exhibitions for 20 years.
I live in Scarborough, Cape town - a quaint little
village set on the edge of the Atlantic Ocean.
I am always inspired by nature and the
beauty surrounding us. I enjoy sketching and
drawing daily and develop those into big
paintings on canvas.I use ink, water colors,
fabric paint, acrylic and oil paint on paper,
fabric and canvas..
I take art commissions, design artistic
logos, paint signs, paint murals to
order and give art lessons.
